Effective 30 July 2026
Terms of Sale and Service
These terms apply to electrical services and materials supplied by Powertrade Industries Pty Ltd, ABN 94 673 907 250, trading as Powertrade Industries ("we", "us" or "our").
1. Requesting Work
By asking us to perform work, accepting a quote, or allowing us to begin work, the customer accepts these terms.
A person requesting work for a property, business, body corporate or other organisation confirms that they have authority to do so.
2. Work and Pricing
Unless we provide an accepted written quote, work is charged according to:
- the time spent performing the work at our current hourly rate; and
- the materials we supply.
2. Work and Pricing - continued
GST will be added where applicable. Our current hourly rate may be requested before work begins.
Where we provide a written quote, that quote will contain the specific scope, pricing and any additional terms applying to the quoted work. If there is an inconsistency, the accepted quote takes priority over these general terms.
Additional work outside an accepted quote may be charged separately where authorised by the customer.
3. Access and Site Conditions
The customer must provide reasonable and safe access to the work location.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions or problems outside the agreed scope of work.
We may stop or postpone work where continuing would be unsafe or unlawful.
4. Invoices and Payment
We will issue an invoice after the work is completed or at another appropriate stage.
Payment is due within 3 calendar days after the invoice is delivered.
An invoice is treated as delivered when it is emailed to the nominated email address or made available through our client and job management platform.
5. Materials
Materials supplied by us remain subject to availability. We may use a reasonably equivalent product where the originally intended product is unavailable, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Materials Warranty
We provide a one-year voluntary warranty on materials supplied by us, beginning on the date the material is installed.
To make a claim, contact us within the warranty period using the details below and provide the relevant invoice or job details, a description of the problem and reasonable access for us to inspect the material.
For a valid warranty claim, we will cover the reasonable cost of inspection, labour, removal, replacement materials and reinstallation.
This voluntary warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorised alterations, external events or work performed by another person.
After the one-year warranty period, we may assist with a claim under an applicable manufacturer warranty. Unless required by law, labour and other service costs are not covered after the one-year period.

7. NSW Residential Work Requirements
These general terms do not replace any written contract, disclosure document or insurance required under NSW law.
Where a separate contract is legally required or has been entered into, that contract takes priority to the extent of any inconsistency.
